This study song is a revised and easier version of “East Aurora Shuffle” which is a revised version of “Buffalo Shuffle-O,” and was named in honor of Rick Nicotra and other friends in the Buffalo area. It has a Big Walter Horton sound to it. The head hints of “T.D.’s Boogie Woogie” and has become classic Chicago Blues that every blues harp player should know. Sonny Boy Williamson also used a similar riff on “Keep It To Yourself.” Use T-Blocking for everything except when playing chords.
